The archives at Caernarfon and the National library of Wales at Aberystwyth were used for their large number of photos of the quarry. This enabled a basic map to be drawn up which was later modified and confirmed with many dives.Most of the movable things that can be found on this map have been verified by diving, though divers are known to move them around occasionally.
