I was born in 1968 in Norfolk, England. When I left school, I started my career as a general and electrical aircraft technician in the Royal Air Force, working as a member of 360 squadrons first line servicing team. On leaving the RAF I found that my career made a natural progression into electronic engineering and then in to computers. I Now live in North Wales working as a Computer and network Engineer for a global IT CompanyIn the pursuit of a more scientific approach to research and solving problems, I have spent a number of years studying with the Open University, and have completed modules in General Science, Astronomy, Physics, and Geology. hopefully this will allow me a better understanding of science in general, and also give me the necessary tools to solving problems like those found in the ancient mysteries of the world. One of my interests is in researching all aspects of the ancient world. I am currently looking at how ancient cultures used Science, Astronomy and Technology. This is one of my long-term research projects where I work closely with my brother Richard Wells. With this in mind we have set up an independent web site called Earthquest, which is dedicated to ancient mysteries and you will find any results of our work and other related information there. I also have a more active side with activities like Walking, Climbing, Sub-aqua diving and Caving. Some of these are combined in the exploration of abandoned mine workings. With the weather playing a major role in these activities I have sought a better understanding of how it works, which has lead to a fascination of severe weather as you will find on the weather page. |
